Terms of Service

Welcome to CS2 Overlay Stats (https://cs2-overlay-stats.pro). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, tools, and real-time overlay services (the “Service”).

By logging in via Steam, creating an account, or using our overlays, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service & Beta Access

Purpose: The Service provides automated, real-time statistics overlays for Counter-Strike 2 streamers.
Beta Phase: If you are participating in a “Beta” version of the Service, you acknowledge that the platform is still undergoing testing. The Service may contain bugs, experience instability, or undergo major changes without prior notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Beta access at any time.

2. Account Registration & Steam Integration

To use our overlays, you must log in using your Steam account via Valve’s OpenID mechanism.
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the security of your stream keys, overlay URLs, and account access.
You agree not to share your unique overlay URLs with third parties. Any unauthorized use of your account or credentials must be reported to us immediately.

3. Third-Party Dependencies (The “Valve & Streaming Platforms” Clause)

API Dependency: You explicitly acknowledge that our Service relies heavily on third-party Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), primarily Valve’s Steam Web API, as well as streaming platforms like Twitch or YouTube.
Exemption of Liability: If Valve, Twitch, or YouTube changes their API policies, restricts data access, suffers server downtime, or updates Counter-Strike 2 in a way that breaks our data scraping or rendering capabilities, CS2 Overlay Stats will not be held liable for any partial or total service disruption.

4. Intellectual Property & License of Use

Our Property: All code, design patterns, graphics, algorithms, branding, and the overlay infrastructure itself are the exclusive intellectual property of the Owner of CS2 Overlay Stats.
Your License: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to display our statistical overlays on your live video streams (OBS, Streamlabs, etc.) and recorded content, strictly in accordance with these Terms.
Prohibited Actions: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, resell, or exploit any part of our source code or API endpoints without explicit written permission.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

Saturation, DDoS, or attempt to compromise our database and infrastructure.
Generate automated malicious traffic to our overlay rendering servers.
Use the overlays to display fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful content on your stream that violates the terms of service of your streaming platform (e.g., Twitch Community Guidelines).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
No Liability for Stream Losses: Under no circumstances shall CS2 Overlay Stats or its owner be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of stream revenue, loss of sponsorships, twitch/youtube bans, or viewer drops caused by overlay malfunctions, technical downtime, or incorrect match statistics.

7. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page or via an announcement on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any legal disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [Tu Ciudad/Provincia donde resides], Spain.
